Sneha & Rajat: Portrait Session on day of Sangeet

Sneha and Rajat got married at this gorgeous winery in Gilroy / Morgan Hill called Hecker Pass Winery this last weekend. This is a destination wedding as they as well as the family are all from the east coast. I actually did not meet Sneha prior to signing a contract, but was amazed at the details that were attended to in planning this destination wedding. It really was a beautiful event. Everything was pink to coincide with Sneha's pink attire.

My new Canon 1Ds Mark 111

I got to say if I were to list the top three materialistic things I want in life the Canon 1Ds Mark 111 would easily fall into that list. So when my tax guy told me I need to spend a lot of money on equipment in 2008 I didnt waste any time to buy it. It is just a SUPERB camera. So now I own the following canon cameras: 1ds Mark 111, 1dMark 11n, 5D and cant forget about my 20D. There are a few really obvious nice things about the 1ds
+ ISO is EASILY accessible. Thank you! It requires two buttons to get to it on my 1dM2n.
+ View Screen is a lot bigger.
+ Battery is a lot lighter than the 1d M2n
+ 22 Major Mega pixels.
+ Full Frame
And much much more. Will write more about this when I have more time.

South Asian Wedding Planner

I have been thinking about building a South Asian wedding planner / organizer for years now. After shooting so many weddings, talking to so many brides and realizing the lack of a central organizer specifically around South Asian weddings, I decided to write one. This took months of labor, and lots of input from my brides, family and friends. But that was the easy part.. Now I have boxes of these in my garage and I have to sell them.
