Wedding Season starts for me next week and I am BUSY till December. Whew! It will be fun! I am trying to crank out all the albums I can during this quiet time before the storm.

Here is another page from the bride getting ready portion of the wedding day. This is a one of my favorite parts of the day. There is just so much excitement, anticipation...

Album Layouts

So one of great things about my job is I get to design my couples Wedding Albums. This is where I get to use other parts of my brain and creativity. It really is a load of fun. We go back and forth on all the changes and I offer and infinite amount of changes. I have some couples that love the album right of the first version (Love those couples :)) and then I have some couples that cant seem to decide if it looks better in BW or color or how about sepia.... I dont use any templates or programs for my layouts. Mostly out of my head, but occasionally I will check out YSI templates for ideas when I hit a road block. I will try to post my layouts more often. Here is one that I just created..

The Beach

If I could live at the beach I would. Here is a shot of my baby at Half Moon Bay. I try to use sephia sparingly because I think it is far too much misused.

Sneha & Rajat's Reception

Sneha & Rajat had their reception in the evening at Hecker Pass Winery. It was a wonderful event with the sunset illuminating the winery as the backdrop. Their reception was held under a tent decorated with pink flowers. Every detail was looked into. From a lighting point of view this was probably the most challenging yet the most rewarding reception I have ever done. There were pink floruscent lights lighting up the tent and really no direct ceiling to bounce a flash. Needless to say most of my work is flashless anyways, so I played around with the ISO and AP/TV and got these shots.





Generally I stay away from sephia because I think it looks fake, but here is a good example of where it looks fine.





Their slow song was the "Pehle Nazar" from RACE. Its a very new song, and I just heard it a few days prior to this wedding. GOOD choice! I love Atif Aslam. For all those who love Atif Aslam, you must listen to his "Doorie" CD. Amazing.
Sneha hired DJ Kapil as her DJ. I have done a few events with him and he is great!

Sneha & Rajat's Wedding

This was perhaps the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. It really was a romantic affair. Everything was pink to match the bride's attire. The sky was a wonderful shade of blue to contrast the pink of the decorations. Sneha organized this wedding from the east coast and I was truly impressed with the attention to details. Floral Creations by Nasreen did all the florals and decoration.

Sneha & Rajat: Wedding Portraits

We snuck out to a winery next door to the Hecker Pass Winery to get some shots of Sneha & Rajat together. I just loved the stone pathways at this winery. We own a rental home in Morgan Hill, but we have NEVER roamed the area looking at the wineries. It really is a beautiful place! Needless to say Sneha & Rajat looked lovely!

Sneha got ready at the Residence Inn in Morgan Hill on the morning of her wedding. Ruby did her makeup. She looked absolutely beautiful. I loved the details of her lengha. Her lengha was a work of art in itself.
